      Surprisingly, this is not possible with those exact three buttons. Vista will not allow anyone to prevent the system shutting down. I’ve had to cover these buttons.

      UPDATE: I’ve looked into this, and it turns out that you can go into Windows “PowerOptions” and change the option for “When The Power Button is Pressed – Do This” to “Do Nothing.” Maybe if I told the Parent that as the app starts up?

      I had the same problem and was able to disable my power button in Vista's power settings. (Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do). Now when I'm plugged in the power button does nothing. Would be cool to be able to disable them within the program though.
