Maybe do some sound mixing so a second sound does not have to pre-empt the first?

Pressing a button starts playback of a sound; pressing a second button starts playback of a second sound, but also stops playback of the first one.

    Crayola keyboard doesn't have F4

My son's Crayola doesn't have any function keys (F4). Maybe CTRL+ALT+DEL could be used to close program? This would help out greatly! Thanks.

The laugh sound that sounds like a horse has to GO. It's SCARY! :-)

I know the laughs are slated for removal, but I had to comment on That One Weird Laugh. All the rest are kinda kiddy and cute, but that one freaks me every time. Surely I'm not the only one...? Otherwise, my 2yo son and I love it, and we can't wait for hardware support to be activated!

The Alt F4 key combo doesn't work for me. Had to bring up the feedback page, to show the taskbar, then right click to bring up task manager and then kill the process.

Make the mouse wheel grow and shrink shapes (or change shape colour).

Moving the mouse wheel was one of the first interactions my 6 month old had with the mouse. I would open a paint program, add some random shapes to the screen and she would slide the mouse wheel up and down causing the image to scale in and out. The effect was big and obvious and very intuitive t... more

Give credit to Justin Cohen for the old Mac version from the 90's.

I can't seem to find any reference on this site to the original application from the 1990's (or even late 80's?). If you google "babysmash.hqx" you will find old references to the program.

I do appreciate your open license of this program, but at least give fair recognition for the ... more

    Pronounce typed words

Make a new mode: a very simple text-to-speech terminal.

Type a line of text, hit enter, it sends the line to the TTS engine.

Still names the letters as you press them, they still spin into place - but into left-to-right order across the screen.

Instead of wrapping, >MAX_WIDTH letters shift... more
