Provide a very basic web page rendering capability so that parents can allow access to local web pages or some of the available kid sites (i.e. PBS kids, ...) as the toddlers grow to start using the internet. Access permissions must be very strictly controlled.

on windows 7, this brings up start menu and defeats the app security. several other key combos (probably involving banging a full hand on shift, ctrl, fn, windows key, or alt) pop up windows functions.

It took my 1 year old about 2 mins to break. Screen flipped 90 degrees. Took me next 20 min to fix

I bought my son one of those cool chunky keyboards but, alas, it has no F-unction keys and thus is not ALT+F4 compatible.
