have an option for the circles to fade away like the shapes

You mean, the mouse drag circles? Like fade away just after they are put down? Like a mouse trail?

Ah, I gotcha. I do have to clear the screen eventually because I'm running out of resources, but I could come up with a way to fade/remove things in a more ongoing way. Good idea.

absolutely, instead of just harshly blanking the screen, have everything just gently fading away after a pre-defined period, just like the shapes do. DEL or backspace or ESC could be used to totally clear the screen.
